Valet First (prev. Get Valeted) provides
mobile car valeting and
detailing services to private clients within London
and the Home Counties. The company is especially dominant
within Central London where it enjoys a 23% market share.
Main marketing channel has been Pay Per Click (Google AdWords)
and referrals.
The Brief
In a bid to further capture the lucrative Central London market (and, the Search Engine Results Page) and lower the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Valet First asked us to carry out a Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The goal was to rank well within the major search engines so that not only would their website get more traffic but also be able to cease its Pay Per Click campaign which has become increasingly expensive every year.
Analysis & Action
We decided to focus on narrow as well as broad search
terms so we didn’t miss out on customers looking for a mobile
car valet within London but forgot to include the word ‘London’!
we also created appropriate landing pages for some search
terms to make the process from search to book as easy as
possible.
Results
2 months since we began the Search Engine Optimization process, Valet First now ranks between position 1 and 3 on almost all of the keywords important to its business. We were able to make a positive difference on various levels:
- Bookings via website increased by 57%
- Level of traffic increased by 79%
- Total marketing spend reduced by 38% - Valet First was in a position to stop its Pay Per Click campaign on month 4.
